Power Rail Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced engineer, ideally with a background in railway technology, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing technical requirements from tenders, designing compliant solutions, and developing innovative components for conductor rail applications. You will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure successful integration and implementation of new components.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate technical requirements from tenders and project specifications.
• Develop designs and solutions in line with project requirements.
• Manage prototype development and series production launches in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers in an international environment.
• Support Project Managers, Sourcing department and Quality Department to reach targets in terms of cost, delays and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) with 5 years of experience.
• Practical experience in project management, design and product development.
• Basic knowledge of usual CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks).
• Knowledge of usual industrial processes (manufacturing, material, …).
• Ideally, experience in the railway industry (rolling stock, infrastructure).
