Title: Power Plant Specialist

Location: Milledgeville, GA area

Pay: $40 - $48/HR with 10% bonus, 500+ hours of OT, Relocation

Schedule: Day shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to operational issues while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Perform calibration, testing, tuning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment to support plant reliability.
• Support daily plant operations including equipment startups, shutdowns, inspections, and system monitoring activities.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on pumps, motors, valves, compressors, rotating equipment, and control systems.
• Follow and maintain strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all plant safety policies and operating procedures.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, operational logs, inspections, and compliance-related records.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), plant control systems, and Microsoft Office applications to support operations and maintenance functions.
• Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, and weekend coverage while working effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented power environment.
