ABOUT THE ROLE
Data4 is looking for a Power Infrastructure & Utility Strategy Manager to support the successful execution of the firm’s power strategy. The position will support group-level oversight of the power program across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring that power delivery is managed as a core enabler of growth.
This role operates across countries and projects, working closely with local teams while maintaining a central, strategic view of power risks and opportunities.
MISSION
Support securing, managing and de‑risking power capacity across jurisdictions, by coordinating grid connection processes, monitoring power infrastructure delivery and acting as an interface with utilities, regulators and other stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GROUP-LEVEL POWER STRATEGY OVERSIGHT
- Support implementation of the firm’s power strategy across countries, ensuring alignment between local approaches and overall platform priorities and standards
- Maintain active visibility of connection status, secured capacity and key project risks
- Support alignment between local power strategies with the platform’s business priorities
POWER INFRASTRUCTURE & GRID DELIVERY
- Monitor progress of power works (substations, cabling), by utilities and by internal teams
- Identify emerging delivery risks, and support mitigation plans with local teams and utilities
- Support alignment between power delivery timelines and project development schedules
- Assess alternative or complementary power solutions beyond traditional grid supply
UTILITY & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
- Participate in engagements with utilities, regulators and public authorities, supporting critical discussions related to connection capacity, timelines and delivery conditions
- Support the development of long‑term, constructive relationships with key stakeholders
CROSS-PALATFORM COORDINATION
- Work closely with local teams in-country to support successful project delivery
- Contribute to standardization of approaches to utility engagement and interface
PROFILE & BACKGROUND
- 5–8 years’ experience in power, grid or energy infrastructure
- Full professional proficiency in English and French.
- Experience with a utility, grid operator, IPP, or technical advisor with HV / MV power project exposure
- Solid understanding of the electric transmission & distribution space highly valued

REQUIREMENTS
- Solid understanding of grid connection processes and power infrastructure fundamentals
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of operating at the interface between technical teams, management and external stakeholders
- Understand power delivery in the context of the company’s broader business plan, linking connection milestones to commercial targets and platform growth
- Pragmatic and delivery-oriented, with ability to move from analysis to actionable solutions
- Comfortable operating in uncertain environments, with strong intellectual curiosity and structured problem‑solving approach
- Combines technical depth with financial and commercial mindset
