The Impact You'll Make
As our Power Electronics Project Manager (F/H), you will play a key role in delivering large scale, high impact projects within Semikron Danfoss’ Solutions business unit, supporting sustainable and innovative power electronics and energy solutions across sectors such as energy, automotive, and industrial automation. Your impact will be visible in the successful execution of complex projects from concept through start of production, delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with technical, financial, and organizational objectives, benefiting customers, internal stakeholders, and cross‑site teams. You will collaborate closely with product development, product management, testing, production, procurement, and external partners, taking ownership of the full project lifecycle and contributing to a more innovative, efficient, and sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary and cross‑site projects within the Solutions business unit to deliver agreed objectives within scope, time, budget, and quality requirements.
- Define project scope, create and maintain detailed project plans, manage timelines, risks, milestones, and critical paths, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners, providing clear and structured reporting on project status, risks, and issues.
- Analyze customer specifications, define technical solutions based on existing platforms and new technologies together with Product Development and Product Management, and prepare technical offers including cost and effort calculations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, manage issues proactively, ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintain complete project documentation, and continuously improve project management practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 7 to 10 years of proven project management experience, ideally in power electronics, energy, automotive, or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Polarion, or similar systems, with strong skills in budget management and resource allocation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and cross‑site teams and to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with fluency in English and French at minimum B2 level; German proficiency is an advantage.
- A problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement mindset combined with a solid educational background in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, and a PMP or equivalent certification as a plus.
