Job Description

• Bachelor of Science degree
• 3 years of power electronics design experience.
• Familiarity with several power converter circuit topologies and ability to analyze.
• Experience with control loop theory and analysis.
• Experience with circuit simulation using PSIM, MATLAB or similar.

Desirable

• Experience with magnetic circuit simulation and analysis using ANSYS Maxwell or similar.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for circuit-level design, simulation, and troubleshooting to support power supply and power converter applications.
• Direct small team on power electronics projects.
• Read customer specifications and apply to the power electronics system requirements.
• Use thermal design skills and design appropriate thermal management systems.
• Perform circuit design while considering electro-magnetic interference and susceptibility.
• Perform magnetics design and evaluation of components such as transformers, inductors and ferrite core materials.
