Power Builder Developer
We are looking for a Power Builder Developer with experience in SQL, PowerBuilder, EDI, and label applications. The role requires day‑to‑day maintenance, support, and documentation of existing applications. Most current code lacks documentation, and the new developer will create documentation in preparation for upcoming SAP S4 upgrades. The candidate may also assist with business‑analysis tasks for existing or future shop‑floor applications.
The team consists of two other developers and supports two plants: one located in Terre Haute, IN, and the other in Hazleton, PA. The PA plant receives all remote support, while the Terre Haute team members are onsite. The team operates a 24/7 on‑call rotation; with a new member, on‑call coverage can be shared, and the team typically receives about one or two calls per quarter.
Key applications the role will support include purchased finite scheduling tools, the Tess system, plant maintenance application Maximo, and the Loftware label application. Applicants should be familiar with planning finite scheduling tools and have a strong understanding of plant operations.
