Portfolio Analytics Intern - AI, Python & PowerBI

We are looking for an Intern to work in the Portfolio management Multi Asset - Multi Management area of the Paris office for 6 months, starting in September.

You will support our Portfolio Managers on fund selection and will collaborate with other teams within Allianz Global Investors.

What you will do

• You will perform ongoing analyses, reports and presentations for our different clients/portfolios
• You will interact with our fund providers and AllianzGI teams for qualitative analyses, SRI assessments and preparation of reports
• You will participate in various projects related to internal and external target funds and investment strategies
• You will support and improve existing processes and tools in different environments such as PowerBI, Bloomberg, VBA, Python, Databricks

What you bring

• Native French, fluency in English both, verbal and written
• Knowledge of programming (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA), proficiency with AI, and profound knowledge of Microsoft office applications
• High degree of reliability, analytical mind, and ability to grasp things quickly
• Experience in Asset Management would be a plus
• AI Skills, Python, SQL, Microsoft CoPilot
