We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Plant Logistics Manager to drive production & materials planning, optimize raw material warehouse and logistics operations, and ensure seamless material flow—balancing cost, service, and quality performance. You will play a key role in strengthening operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of monthly and daily production plans, aligned with S&OP inputs, capacity constraints, and supplier capabilities
- Define and drive materials requirements planning (MRP/DRP) to ensure optimal supply availability
- Oversee inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and availability of raw materials and components
- Manage internal logistics and raw material and WIP warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient material handling, and inventory control
- Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to balance availability and working capital efficiency
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, proactively mitigating risks in close collaboration with Procurement and Production
- Define and track logistics KPIs (safety, service levels, inventory accuracy, productivity, availability)
- Champion the plant’s WCM Logistics Pillar by identifying, implementing, and sustaining continuous improvement actions that increase logistics efficiency, optimize material flow, and improve warehouse performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver plant performance and operational excellence targets
- Actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Foster a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within logistics operations
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering capability growth and engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within an industrial environment
- Proven expertise in: Production & material planning, Warehouse operations & inventory management and ERP/WMS implementation and optimization
- Strong experience managing operational teams in manufacturing environments
- Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics KPIs
- Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities
