Barilla France is looking for a Plant Controlling Analyst Western Europe (M/F/D) within the Region Western Europe.The role will join the Western Europe Plant Controlling team , reporting solid to the Plant Controlling Manager Europe.We offer a 6-month fixed-term contract for a dedicated, project-based role. The role will be based in Chateauroux or Plaine de l’Ain (France).

JOB PURPOSE The resource will join Western Europe Plant Controlling Team and will support the standardization, harmonization, and digitalization of controlling activities across the Western Bakery Plants, in line with Barilla Group best practices, ensuring alignment with Barilla Operations and enabling a more efficient, digital, and sustainable Finance organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Standardize and harmonize controlling processes across all Western Europe Bakery Plants
  • Implement best practices and methodologies already adopted across Barilla Operations
  • Drive simplification, standardization and digitalization of controlling activities, embedding a continuous improvement mindset to improve efficiency
  • Develop and deploy standard templates, tools, and operating guidelines
  • Support the implementation of the defined organizational model in Western Europe plants, in particular:
    • strengthening Finance–Supply Chain partnership, providing hands-on support and guidance throughout the transition and implementation
    • preparing work instructions and operational guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity
    • shadowing activities during the transition phase, ensuring proper knowledge transfer from Finance to Supply Chain
    • providing enhanced support post go-live, ensuring stability and full ownership by the plants until complete handover

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration & Management, Engineering or other similar studies
  • Minimum of 2-years of relevant experience in Finance or Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC, EPM, MS Office Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Teams); the knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning and organization skills, and strong problem-solving attitude
  • Demonstrated autonomy, strong delegation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Good knowledge of English and French, both written and spoken (mandatory)
  • Availability for business travels to the French production sites (estimated up to 30%)
