Your purpose

Be the finance co‑pilot to the Plant Manager: explain performance, drive competitiveness, optimize cash (Capex & inventory), secure compliance and support transformation projects.

Your key responsibilities

1) Explain financial performance

  • Own the site P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash view and provide clear storytelling (what/why/what's next),
  • Lead monthly close and accurate variance analysis by activity,
  • Reconcile Actual vs Standard and productivity through Analysis of Change,
  • Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews with data‑driven actions.

2) Drive competitiveness

  • Partner across Operations/Industrialization/Supply Chain/Quality/Purchasing to deliver cost productivity (lean savings, yield, scrap reduction, maintenance optimization, energy efficiency),
  • Co‑lead Make‑versus‑Buy, footprint, automation and capacity utilization analyses; quantify ROI and track benefits,
  • Implement costing transparency by product family/value stream; identify loss trees and drive CI roadmaps,
  • Support pricing/transfer price with cost‑to‑serve and margin analytics,
  • Track the savings pipeline (validated/secured/recognized) with strong governance.

3) Optimize Cash (Capex & Inventory)

  • Lead plant Capex governance: plan aligned to strategy/productivity roadmap and depreciation forecast,
  • Support business cases (NPV/IRR/Payback) and drive post‑implementation reviews (PIRs),
  • Monitor WIP, advances, capitalization timing and asset tagging; prevent idle/non‑productive assets,
  • Drive inventory excellence: reduce SLOB (ABC/XYZ, MOQ, safety stock, cycle counting), improve accuracy/valuation; recommend design changes to reduce material exposure.

4) Secure compliance / audits / KICs follow‑up

  • Ensure policy compliance (accounting manual, capitalization, impairment, standard costing, reserves, DOA),
  • Coordinate internal/external audits; close findings with dated action plans,
  • Maintain documentation (process narratives, RACI, work instructions, control testing, sign‑offs),
  • Safeguard assets (physical controls, cycle counts, scrap authorization, segregation of duties).

5) Support transformation projects

  • Build business cases, financial models and ROI analyses,
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders with clear governance and on‑time milestones,
  • Track progress, risks and benefits; prepare dashboards and KPIs for reviews.

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Finance, Audit, Industrial Engineering or related,
  • 5+ years in plant/industrial controlling,
  • Strong command of standard costing, variance and project costing,
  • ERP experience (SAP/S4HANA), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and Excel/automation,
  • Familiarity with internal controls and audits,
  • Fluent in English and French; excellent communication skills.

Skills & behaviors

  • Teamwork across the finance community and beyond,
  • Business partnering: challenge status quo; turn data into decisions; strong storytelling,
  • Analytical rigor: root‑cause/loss tree analysis; scenario & sensitivity modeling,
  • Operational fluency: shopfloor drivers (OEE, changeover, maintenance, scrap),
  • Execution & governance: drive action closure; pragmatic policy enforcement.

We offer :

  • A competitive fixed salary and an individual bonus, with profit‑sharing schemes where applicable.
  • A range of social benefits that make life easier: healthcare coverage, savings & retirement plans, and a shareholding program.
  • Career development through training, internal mobility (local & international), and skills sharing.
  • An onboarding path starting your first day, within a culture promoting diversity, inclusion and professional development.
  • A good work‑life balance thanks to our home‑office policy (up to 48% where eligible) and parenting support.
