Pipeline design engineer

CAPEFRONT Energies is looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Pipeline Engineer to join a major engineering project based in Paris .

This permanent opportunity is ideal for an engineer with solid experience in offshore pipeline design , capable of leading technical activities from FEED through Detailed Design.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Pipeline Basis of Design (BoD)
• Perform pipeline and flowline wall thickness calculations
• Carry out thermal expansion analyses
• Develop and optimise offshore pipeline routing
• Perform pipeline buckling and walking assessments
• Conduct on-bottom stability analyses
• Evaluate seabed roughness and pipeline interaction
• Carry out pipe-soil interaction analyses
• Support Engineering Critical Assessments (ECA)
• Produce technical reports and design documentation
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Required Profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore or Pipeline Engineering
• Extensive experience in offshore pipeline engineering
• Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline design principles
• Experience with FEED and Detailed Engineering projects
• Good understanding of DNV and international offshore design codes
• Previous experience as a Senior Pipeline Engineer or Lead Pipeline Engineer
• Experience within the Oil & Gas and/or Subsea industry
• Fluent English required (French is a plus)
