POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Family Medicine Faculty role involves a combination of clinical and academic responsibilities, with a focus on training and supervising residents in the full scope of family medicine, including obstetrics. The faculty member will work in collaborative environment with other faculty, residents, and healthcare teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide direct clinical care to a diverse patient panel in a continuity clinic setting. 2. Supervise and mentor family medicine residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings. 3. Perform family medicine procedures and manage patient care in a variety of settings. 4. Participate in 3-4 half-day clinical sessions per week, providing direct patient care and resident supervision. 5.
