PhD: Gastric pH & MRI‑Driven Digestion of Foods in Vitro

INRAE in Rennes is offering a PhD position to study the mechanisms limiting digestion of solid food particles using MRI. The project will deploy MRI/NMR techniques to monitor semi-dynamic in vitro digestion and study pH effects on digestion kinetics.

The PhD candidate will be integrated into IRM-Food and UR OPAALE units, supervised by experienced researchers, and will join a multi-disciplinary team working on food nutrition and MRI methods.
