HEIA-FR invites applications for a PhD position in the COOLWALK project, conducted in collaboration with EPFL, focusing on reinforcing walkability in city centres under climate change. The PhD candidate will study thermal comfort, pedestrian behavior and urban design strategies for climate-resilient cities, based at the Smart Living Lab in Fribourg.
The role includes field measurements, data analysis, publications and teaching contributions, with joint supervision by HEIA‑FR and EPFL.
