PhD: Climate-Resilient Walkability & Urban Heat Adaptation

HEIA-FR in Fribourg seeks a PhD candidate to investigate climate-resilient walkability and urban heat adaptation within COOLWALK, a collaboration with EPFL. The project links urban climate science, mobility analysis, and data-driven modelling to improve pedestrian comfort in future cities.

Based at the Smart Living Lab, the candidate will conduct interdisciplinary research, lead field measurements and workshops, contribute to publications, and collaborate with public authorities and partners.
