Research Context
Modern audio systems require precise control of sound coverage in complex environments. This PhD will explore advanced methods for steering and shaping sound beams, combining the source configurations and digital signal processing.
Objectives
- Develop algorithms for beam orientation and width control using advanced mathematical frameworks.
- Integrateenvironmentalfactors(e.g.,reflections, audience zones)intooptimizationprocesses.
- Validate concepts through simulation and experimental prototypes.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in Acoustics, Signal Processing, Audio Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong skills in numerical modelling and programming (MATLAB, Python).
- Knowledge of loudspeaker systems and array processing is a plus.
- Motivation for applied research and innovation in audio technologies.
WeOffer
- A dynamic research environment withcutting-edgefacilities.
- Collaboration with industry experts and potential international partners.
