Within the Global Controlling team, the International Business Controller reports directly to the Global Omnichannel Business Controlling Manager and participates in the management of Sephora's profitability.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions :

  • Ensure the accuracy of Sephora’s financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with Sephora and LVMH processes and management rules
    • Define, manage, and communicate timelines and instructions for budget cycles to all regions
    • Guarantee the quality and relevance of information submitted in LVMH consolidation tool for all reporting phases (monthly, annual, revised, Strategic Plan and Budget)
    • Establish and maintain robust financial reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of management reports and performance dashboards
  • Develop financial analysis of the profitability of the Sephora Group
    • For all financial closings, Budget and Strat plan: develop, analyze and synthesize the performance in all regions. Identify the points that will need to be challenged
    • Work as business partner with the controlling teams in each region in the context of monthly closings and in the budget phases
    • Propose new reports and analysis to support CFO and Sephora leadership team decisions
  • With the aim of achieving excellence in performance monitoring and cost optimization
    • Build a robust framework for controlling costs and commitments. Present precise summaries on the evolution of Sephora's P&L fixed and variable costs
    • Develop benchmarks and productivity analysis within the different countries. Identify best practices and levers for action and share them with the regions
    • Sephora operates more than 2000 stores across its different regions: develop smart reports specific to the review of retail profitability
  • Focus CAPEX
    • Track regional capex commitments
    • Establish Sephora's Retail and Digital Capex analyses: for all quarterly, annual and budget phase closings
    • Lead the validation process of store + digital investment projects at Sephora Group level. Draw up summary notes, present projects to the CFO and Global COO.

Do not hesitate to apply if you have… or if you are …

- Holder of a Master's degree or equivalent, you have acquired solid financial experience and have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Finance and Management Control

- Experience as a business partner with operational teams is required

- Experience in beauty and/or retail is a plus

- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent analytical skills, rigor and attention to detail

This position is a permanent contract, based in Neuilly sur Seine (Paris area).
