Perl Developer

We are currently supporting a global technology consultancy looking for an experienced Senior Perl Developer to join a large scale telecommunications project in France.

The successful consultant will work on a mature, business critical application with a substantial Perl backend, supporting ongoing development, maintenance, incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications written primarily in Perl
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and recurring technical problems
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long term corrective actions
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and Git based development workflows
• Contribute to applications running within Kubernetes environments
• Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders within a large telecom environment
• Incident and problem management
• Technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Previous telecommunications industry experience
• Jira and Confluence

Location: France

Working model: Hybrid, approximately 2 days per week onsite

Possible locations: Rennes, Toulouse, Nantes, Paris or Belfort
