Compensation: €70,000 - €90,000 / year

Role Overview

As Performance Marketing Lead at Upway, you will define our roadmap, allocate budget efficiently, lead a high performing team and ultimately drive customer acquisition and revenue growth globally. This role is ideal for an analytical, data-driven professional with proven people leadership skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, B2C e‑commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive Performance Marketing roadmap (SEA & SEO, paid Social Media, GEA & GEO, etc.) aiming at driving traffic and generating revenues for Upway globally in an increasingly efficient way.
• Plan and allocate our Performance Marketing budget (millions of Euros per year!) efficiently across Markets and Channels, for both the Supply and Demand sides of our business.
• Lead a high performing team to execute our plan; set a strong culture of ownership, innovation and resilience.
• Closely monitor campaign performance by implementing best practices in terms of attribution and by building dashboards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in Performance Marketing and related Marketing fields (e.g., SEO), with a track record of improving spend efficiency.
• Proven experience leading high performing teams.
• Stellar analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• An entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proficiency with Performance Marketing platforms (mostly Google Ads and Meta Ads).
• Experience working with Performance Marketing tracking tools and attribution mechanisms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager).
• Great communication skills to present results in an informative and persuasive way to a wide range of stakeholders (Co‑Founders, General Managers, Tech).
