Trip.com Group is seeking a People Partner who will be the primary HR partner for France and support the wider EU market, ensuring compliance with local regulations, optimizing the employee lifecycle, and strengthening people management capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the country HR owner for assigned markets, partnering with managers, employees and HRBPs to provide local HR insight, resolve people matters, and ensure HR practices are delivered in line with business needs, local employment requirements, and regional governance standards.
- Provide practical guidance to managers and BU HRBPs on performance management, conduct, sickness absence, employee concerns, organisational change impacts and employee relations matters.
- Lead ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance issues, absence cases and workplace concerns, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
- Own country-level HR compliance and governance activities, including policy localisation, audit support, evidence collection, remediation tracking and implementation of HR control standards.
- Partner with HRSSC and Regional HR Operations to ensure effective delivery of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract changes, absence support, offboarding, employee documentation and employee record accuracy.
- Act as the local escalation point for complex or country-specific HR operational matters requiring local judgement, manager engagement or stakeholder coordination.
- Lead country-level cross-BU employee engagement, wellbeing, culture and communication initiatives, adapting regional programmes to local needs and cultural context.
- Prepare country-level HR management reports, and use organisational development and people insights to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or contribute to local and regional HR projects, including policy rollouts, compliance initiatives, HR system improvements, process standardisation and employee experience programmes.
- Provide flexible support across wider European HR initiatives and projects as business needs evolve, partnering with regional stakeholders to share best practices, support market expansion activities and contribute to a consistent employee experience across the EU region.
Requirements
- 7-10 years experience, with strong focus on HR Operations, Risk and Compliance and Employee Relations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end, including investigations and high-risk employee matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of local employment law and practical ER application.
- Proven experience advising and coaching managers on performance management, conduct, and sensitive employee issues.
- Experience contributing to HR policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed HR environment alongside HRBPs, HR Operations, and CoEs.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with sound judgement and discretion.
- Mandarin language skills are a bonus but not essential.
