You’ll be joining the People Team at Kaluza – a team spread across London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Melbourne and now Paris. You’ll report to our Director of People Partnering and will have close relationships across the People & Tech functions as well as the wider business.
What will I be doing?
You will be a strategic partner to the Technology area of business, enabling our company’s vision and strategy to be realised, in partnership with our Technology Heads of Department and People Leaders. Additionally, you will be the key People Partner for our France based employees. You will be a coach and advisor to that community, be a master at working with others across the People Team and the wider organisation to leverage the whole team’s expertise and get stuff done.
Responsibilities
- Customer Success: Ensuring the Technology function and French employees have an excellent experience working with the People Team; delivering the People Strategy for Technology extended leadership (e.g., hiring, communications); lead discussions and debate with data, formulating insights and recommendations to inform workforce strategy development.
- People Strategy: Be a strategic people partner to our Technology function and French employees, delivering plans and approaches that support our business objectives; contribute to the People Experience roadmap and broader People Strategy for Kaluza by providing insight from key stakeholders.
- Organisational Design: Ensure future-proof and adaptable design for partnered functions; influence the career framework to optimise internal mobility.
- Performance + Reward: Facilitate local discussions for France and in partnership for Technology on performance (Team Health Checks); calibrate local performance expectations; support high-quality goal setting; use performance data to identify talent opportunities; facilitate local pay review discussions with leaders.
- Employee Relations: Act as escalation point for complex employee relations issues within France and support the Technology function; spot opportunities to increase engagement and reduce issues; role model best practices.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Support DEI strategy by designing tailored initiatives for the Technology function; lead local succession planning conversations and coach leaders to optimise for diversity; connect with DE&I communities on cross-functional initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Significant experience as a People Partner in France, ideally from a technology function or technology-focused business.
- Strong personal impact; ability to connect with confidence and credibility across audiences.
- Forward-thinking relationship builder, coach and advisor, willing to challenge the status quo.
- Proven experience navigating organisational complexity.
- Ability to prevent or resolve complex employee relations issues pragmatically.
- Good commercial acumen and analytical skills to design and deliver people plans.
- Preferably a relevant HR degree, or equivalent work experience.
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience of working in a global business.
- Some experience of M&A activity or launching a new business.

We are going through a period of significant evolution with opportunities and challenging work.
