About the Job
A global consultancy in the financial services industry is seeking a People Business Partner to join their Paris office. Supporting the firm's Asset & Wealth Management business across Europe, this role will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering closely with the business to drive people strategy, organisational effectiveness, talent initiatives, and employee engagement. Operating at the intersection of the business and HR function, the successful candidate will play a key role in aligning people priorities with commercial objectives while helping to support the continued growth and development of the organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with senior business leaders to shape and deliver the people strategy, acting as a trusted advisor on talent, organisational effectiveness, and workforce priorities.
- Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives, aligning hiring, talent development, and succession planning with business growth objectives.
- Analyse people data and workforce trends to provide insights and recommendations on recruitment, retention, performance, and employee engagement.
- Oversee key people processes including headcount planning, compensation reviews, performance management, and talent planning cycles.
- Drive strategic people initiatives across areas such as leadership development, employee engagement, organisational design, and post-acquisition integration.
What we’re looking for:
- MUST have 5-7 years’ HR or recruitment experience, with experience in strategic business partnering or relationship management role
- Highly preferred job titles: HR Transformation & Social Strategy, People Business Partner, HR Business Partner
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders on people strategy and organizational design
- Strong experience in talent attraction and management, succession planning, and leadership development
- Demonstrated capability in post-acquisition integration, change management, and cultural alignment
- MUST be fluent in English
- Preferred : Prior experience in management consulting
