Role Overview
We’re looking for a People Business Partner to join our People team and support employees and managers across France, the US, and Europe. This is a broad generalist role combining employee relations, performance management, manager support, international HR topics, and People projects.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Support managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle and act as key People contacts for day‑to‑day topics.
- Support employee relations topics across multiple countries.
- Help managers navigate performance conversations, feedback situations, and team-related challenges.
- Participate in performance improvement plans, disciplinary processes, and offboarding situations when needed.
- Identify recurring themes and surface insights to the People team.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and consistent employee experience across all geographies.
Performance Management & Compensation
- Support the annual performance review cycle.
- Coordinate goal-setting, review, and calibration activities.
- Consolidate manager feedback and maintain documentation.
- Assist with salary review preparation and compensation benchmarking.
- Prepare reporting and insights for People Leadership.
International HR & Mobility
- Support international mobility and relocation processes.
- Coordinate with external providers and partners.
- Assist with work authorization and immigration-related workflows.
- Help maintain compliance across operating countries.
- Support country-specific HR processes and employee questions.
Reporting, Vendors & People Projects
- Maintain People dashboards and reporting.
- Coordinate relationships with external HR vendors and providers.
- Help improve workflows, documentation, and operational processes.
- Contribute to automation and tooling initiatives.
- Support cross‑functional People projects as the company grows.
Qualifications
Must‑have
- 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, HR Generalist or People Partner roles.
- First exposure to employee relations and/or performance management topics.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Structured, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment.
- Comfortable using modern tools and AI assistants to improve productivity and workflows.
Nice‑to‑have
- Exposure to compensation reviews or salary benchmarking.
- Experience with HRIS, reporting or People analytics.
- Experience working with PEO/EOR providers.
- Exposure to international mobility or immigration topics.
- Experience in a tech, digital, or scale‑up environment.
