PDM Functional Leader (m/f)

Based in Toulouse, France.

As a member of the DPPP (Product Data Management) department, you will lead the digital transformation of the Airbus Develop organization by ensuring a consistent Single Source of Truth for 10,000 users and supporting the move to a cloud‑native, micro‑services architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end functional definition of PDM domains to ensure a seamless “Single Source of Truth” for aircraft data.
• Drive next‑generation PDM projects by anticipating technology trends and managing synergies with legacy systems.
• Align architects, system analysts, and developers to deliver high‑quality solutions within Agile Release Trains (ART).
• Orchestrate functional decision‑making to maintain architectural consistency and minimize functional debt.
• Help define future PDM solutions based on open technology standards.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Information Systems Management.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Business Analysis, Functional Architecture, or Product Management within a complex industrial PDM/PLM environment.
• Mastery of Bill of Materials (BOM), Configuration Management, and technical data integration in 3D environments.
• Pragmatic leader with a "doer" mentality, capable of bridging the gap between strategic vision and technical implementation.
• Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is a plus for the Toulouse location.
