Role Purpose
As a member of the Country Servicing Business Services Team, this role is accountable for the management of all payroll related functions to ensure proper set‑up, processing, and generation of the payroll for all company entities within the country.
Responsibilities
- Calculate the effect of changes in the employee population or changes in laws and by‑laws.
- Provide expertise and counsel to management in payroll matters.
- Compute, withhold, and calculate deductions associated with net pay, including federal and state withholding, unemployment insurance, and direct deposit information.
- Calculate gross to net payments and expenses related to relocation and expatriation.
- Enter and maintain all payroll journal entries to the general ledger and reconcile the payroll bank account.
- Create analytical reports for corporate, sub‑regional, and cluster management.
- Communicate with employees regarding individual salary and deduction considerations.
- Provide technical input on the selection of payroll software.
- Ensure proper use of the country payroll system in view of integration and/or consolidation of payroll data at group level.
About you
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, finance or accounting or equivalent by experience.
- Prior experience in a payroll office or similar role in a middle‑sized or large organization.
- English - proficient verbal & writing.
- Local language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal & writing.
- Additional languages are an asset.
