About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to support the transformation and optimization of the Payroll function within a major international engineering company.
This strategic assignment focuses on strengthening payroll governance, improving operational performance, optimizing processes and supporting the evolution of the Payroll operating model.
Main responsibilities
- Assess and optimize the current Payroll organization and governance.
- Review Payroll and HR Administration responsibilities and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement Payroll governance standards and best practices.
- Evaluate Payroll processes, controls and operational performance.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Drive Payroll process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support incident analysis and corrective action plans.
- Define and implement the future Payroll Target Operating Model.
- Support Payroll transformation projects linked to Payroll system evolution.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll teams and key business stakeholders.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years' experience in Payroll Management.
- Strong experience in Payroll Transformation and Payroll Governance .
- Proven expertise in Payroll Operating Model design and optimization.
- Experience with Payroll Compliance, Controls and Risk Management.
- Strong background in Change Management.
- Experience working in large international organizations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives.

Experience within international industrial, engineering, energy or consulting environments such as:
