Payroll and HR Manager

The SAEM des Remontées Mécaniques du Grand-Bornand is looking for a Payroll and HR Manager to replace a maternity leave, from mid-August 2025 until the end of the winter season.
Responsibilities
- Managing payroll in conjunction with the external firm: collecting and checking time sheets, calculating payroll variables, managing absences and contract terminations, checking and validating pay slips, etc.
- Providing HR administrative management: monitoring recruitment applications, contracts, declarations, employee files, seasonal workers, trainees, medical check‑ups and internal communications.
- Monitoring health files: sick leave, workplace accidents, health insurance and provident schemes.
- Updating HR dashboards (headcount, salaries, indicators) and keeping a regulatory watch.
- Managing the various stages of recruitment: defining needs, placing advertisements, sorting applications.
- Organising the induction and formalities for new employees.
- Monitoring training at the start of the season: invitations, management of contracts with the temporary employment agency and monitoring of hours worked.
- Participating in social relations: CSE meetings and discussions with staff representatives.
Profile
- First successful experience in a similar position (HR/payroll management).
- 2 years’ higher education (HR, management, administration or equivalent).
- Good command of IT tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of SILAE payroll software would be a plus.
- Expected qualities: autonomy, discretion, rigour, versatility and team spirit, with a strong ability to adapt to the seasonal rhythm.
Conditions
- Fixed‑term replacement contract (maternity leave), full‑time, from mid-August 2025 to the end of winter 2026.
- Remuneration according to profile and experience.
