What awaits you every day at Quobly:
Mission
Attached to the Operational Department, you are responsible for Quobly’s innovation strategy: your goal is to secure Quobly’s intellectual property by contributing to the promotion of innovations
- You will Assess and identify the patentable elements of innovations developed by Quobly’s R&D teams.
- You will draft, file and monitor patents applications internally or in collaboration with external firms for France and internationally.
- You will manage opposition and grant procedures at patent offices.
- You will monitor scientific and technological developments.
- You will update and monitor FTO (freedom to operate) studies by assessing and anticipating risk and opportunities for change.
- You will participate in the implementation of the intellectual property strategy, in line with Quobly’s objectives by developing our intellectual property portfolio
- You will participate in the development of standards with national and international organisations.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with talented people, in a culture of transparency and autonomy.
- Work hand in hand with our R&D teams, financial service, Operational Department
- Collaborate with external firms, legal department, regulatory and standards experts and Quobly’s partners
You are special because:
- You are a CEIPI engineer or have equivalent experience, preferably with a PhD in quantum physics.
- You have good knowledge of quantum and semiconductor technologies, that is an advantage to understand the innovations of the R&D team
- you know how to set up FTO
- You know patent filing formalities
- You are autonomous and take full ownership of your tasks, from setup implementation to analysis and reporting.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
