Partnership Manager
Wavo raises €3.5 million to unlock stock financing for SMEs - Read more
About Wavo
At Wavo , we are building the future of inventory financing.
For SMEs, inventory is both an opportunity and a constraint. It ties up cash, limits growth, and creates risk. Traditional financing solutions are often slow, rigid, and poorly aligned with the operational reality of inventory.
We take a different approach. Wavo buys and finances inventory upfront, without debt or personal guarantees. Businesses can unlock cash, improve working capital, and accelerate their growth, while buying back their products progressively as they are sold.
We raised €3.5M to accelerate our growth and expand our platform. Our ambition is to build the leading inventory financing infrastructure in Europe.
Partnerships will play a major role in that ambition. We already receive a large number of inbound requests from potential partners, and we believe this channel can become a major growth engine for Wavo. Not only by generating opportunities directly, but also by strengthening our distribution, our ecosystem, and the depth of our product and data integrations.
That is why we are hiring our first Partnership Manager.
About the Role
This is a build-from-scratch role.
Your mission will be to define, launch and grow Wavo’s partnerships function from the ground up. You will identify the right partners, turn interest into concrete collaborations, and make sure those partnerships create real value over time.
This role is not only about signing deals. We are looking for someone who enjoys execution as much as thinking, and who understands that the real value of a partnership lies in activation, enablement, quality of execution, and long-term partner engagement.
You will work across several types of partnerships: intermediaries in business financing, trusted SME advisors, software or workflow partners, and complementary financial players whose offering can create value alongside Wavo.
You will report to the Marketing team and work closely with the founders and several internal teams to turn partnerships into a durable and scalable acquisition and distribution channel.
What You Will Do
You will own the full partnership lifecycle, end to end.
This includes identifying high-potential partners, reaching out, qualifying opportunities, leading discussions, structuring collaborations, negotiating terms, launching partnerships, and then managing and growing those relationships over time.
More specifically, you will:
- Track performance rigorously, learn from what works, and continuously improve how Wavo generates growth through partnerships
- Build Wavo’s partnerships function from scratch, including its priorities, methods and operating rhythm
- Turn inbound partner interest into structured, high-potential opportunities
- Run targeted outbound efforts to open new partnerships
- Sign and launch different kinds of partnerships, including referral, prescriber, strategic and technology partnerships
- Create the right materials, messaging, assets and workflows to help partners understand Wavo and introduce us in the right situations
- Enable partners so they know when to position Wavo, how to talk about us, and how to move the relationship forward
- Animate the partner network over time through regular follow-ups, webinars, co-marketing initiatives, training, and joint business efforts
- Work with internal teams to make sure partnerships are operationally effective, not just commercially promising on paper
- Help surface product or integration opportunities with selected software or workflow partners when this can improve our distribution or our understanding of client flows
What We Are Looking For
We are open-minded on background, but we are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel growth, marketing, or a related role.
More than a specific background, we care about how you work.
You are likely to be a strong fit if:
- You know how to build something from scratch, with ambition and pragmatism
- You enjoy executing and quickly turning ideas into operational reality
- You are an excellent communicator, both written and spoken
- You know how to build trust with partners while maintaining strong business standards
- You are structured, rigorous, and able to manage several topics at once
- You are as comfortable leading a commercial discussion as you are preparing enablement materials, running a webinar, or improving a partner workflow
- You are curious, autonomous, and comfortable in an environment where many things still need to be built
- Based in Lyon or willing to relocate, as we believe in the value of in-person collaboration (3 days per week).
Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, the SME ecosystem, or financial services is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation: fixed salary + BSPCE
- A blank page to build: the opportunity to launch and structure Wavo’s partnerships function from day one.
- Concrete impact: a role directly connected to the company’s growth, with visible impact on our distribution and acquisition.
- A rare scope: a combination of strategy, execution, enablement and partner activation in a highly complete role.
- An ambitious project: join a fast-growing company building a new approach to inventory financing.
- A strong and committed team: a demanding and supportive environment, with a high level of autonomy and trust.
Hiring process
We believe in transparency and efficiency, and we do our best to keep the process simple and smooth.
