Part-time instructor (30 h / year) on IA for Networks / Networks for AI
The Networking and Telecommunication master program at Université Paris-Saclay is recruiting a part-time instructor for the AI for Networks and Network for AI course. The objective of the course is to provide the fundamentals of AI for processing data from network sensors, enabling students to make traffic predictions or detect network anomalies. In addition, the course should present various technologies and protocols for machine learning within a data center.
The program could be as follows
- Session 1 — Network data (AI basics, data preparation for machine learning)
- Session 2 — Network KPIs & interpretation, basic anomalies
- Session 3 — ML for prediction (congestion, latency)
- Session 4 — Network anomaly detection
- Session 5 — Generative AI for network engineers
- Session 6 — Networks for AI (AI cluster requirements, technologies, hardware, interconnections)
- Session 7 — Congestion & performance
Each session consists of 2h presentation and 2h lab sessions. The course will start january 2027.
Responsibilities
This is new course in the master program. The instructor will have to develop the course and lab content. The program is indicative and can be adapted.
Qualifications
The instructor should have a good experience in AI for Networks and Network for AI. A previous teaching experience would be appreciated, but is not mandatory.
