Purpose
Support the overall store performance by assisting in maximizing sales, profitability, and operational standards through effective management of staff, merchandise, and customer service.
Act as a role model to the store team and a Brand Ambassador to customers and the marketplace, supporting the Store Manager in all activities.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Ambassador and Customer Service Support
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying Missoni’s values and culture in all customer interactions and in daily collaboration with the Store Manager and team.
- Support the Store Manager in fostering passion and pride for the brand and its products among the store team.
- Contribute to the organization and execution of in-store events to engage the local customer base and attract new clients.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining high customer service standards, ensuring all team members deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Support the Store Manager in resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Actively participate in clienteling initiatives, supporting new client acquisition and customer loyalty efforts.
Sales and Performance Management
- Support the Store Manager in setting and monitoring individual and store sales targets.
- Analyze sales performance and contribute to preparing reports for Regional Management and HQ.
- Motivate and assist the team in achieving sales and productivity goals through daily presence and coaching on the sales floor.
- Promote storytelling and product knowledge, ensuring the team can effectively communicate brand heritage and product craftsmanship.
- Lead by example through active selling and a strong presence on the shop floor.
- Demonstrate understanding of key performance indicators and retail metrics.
Operations Management and Visual Merchandising
- Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, including payroll hours, floor coverage, and expense control.
- Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are properly maintained at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring deliveries, transfers, and stock movements are correctly handled.
- Contribute to achieving inventory accuracy and loss prevention objectives.
- Ensure company systems and procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
People Management and Development
- Support the Store Manager in onboarding, and developing the store team.
- Actively participate in training and coaching activities to enhance team performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and promote a positive, motivating work environment.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to brand image and grooming standards.
- Act as a role model on the sales floor, supporting the team in daily operations and customer service.
Attitudes, Abilities, Knowledge and Experience Profile
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or senior sales role within a luxury retail environment.
- Strong passion for fashion, luxury, and art.
- Positive, dynamic, and empathetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Results-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to motivate and support a team.
- Solid understanding of sales KPIs and retail performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Knowledge of additional languages and a university degree are considered a plus.
