What You\'ll Do
The Paris Epicenter Sell Thru Specialist will play a critical role in executing our sell-thru activities with our retail partners as well as clubs/academies and the network of our influencers for our Raquet Sports businesses. This role will primarily collaborate with the Paris Territory Manager and will maximize the activation of the brand in the Greater Paris region. The role will also be essential to identify new business opportunities with clubs for both padel and tennis. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and dynamic person with strong communication skills who has a passion for brand activation and a strong history of participating in the racket sport business (tennis and/or padel). This role will report directly to the Market Manager, France – Tennis 360
You will be able to
- Be the Face of the Brand towards sports influencers, partners, events, tournaments, federations, institutions, etc. in the Greater Paris area.
- Execute sell-thru initiatives with our retail partners: retail staff training, events in store, demos for both padel and tennis either directly or through our coaches.
- Build-up, lead and manage brand ambassadors to implementing consumer-facing events program and will be on-site during “best” events (i.e. own sponsored events, events with PP, etc.)
- Drive Demo Events with key academies, clubs, Federations that we partner with.
- Assess opportunities to partner with new/emerging clubs in the region and communicate these opportunities with the Territory Manager
- Provide clear and concise feedback to internal partners to constantly optimize the tools provided to create the best experience for the store staff or consumers that we interact with
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure successful execution of brand activities.
- Ensure Country Brand On-court activation of our Premium Partners and Pan European accounts (i.e. Tennis-Point)
- Amplify social media / viral activation (in coordination with Marketing Executive) thru external ambassadors, Juniors, Influencers, etc.
- Network: Connected with their sport & community, Sport-specific Events, Athletes, Clubs, Coaches, Federation, Programs, etc. Connected with Sport Institutions and corporations.
- Be a source of recommendations to the organization on new opportunities in the region.
What We\'re Looking For
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing / sports marketing and experience in the world of racket sports (tennis and/or padel) and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally with good English skills
- Excellent interpersonal, cross cultural and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with business partners, governing bodies, suppliers and customers
- Ability to lead and supervise people and activities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail – strong planning capabilities
- Possible travel at weekends depending on events requiring agile management of the calendar to support the brand activation
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple brands in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient with SAP is a plus
- Commitment to be on the road (80% of the time on the field)
- Understands “how social media” works and is able to manage and coordinate social media activities
- Sports Expert & Enthusiast - Active sport participant at an experienced level (Tennis and/or Padel)
