PAPYRUS Functional Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Papyrus Functional Consultant to support the implementation of a standalone Document Generation platform using Papyrus, independent of the core payroll system. The objective is to establish a scalable, secure, and multilingual document generation framework capable of handling a large HR document catalogue while ensuring compliance with GDPR and organizational security requirements.

Project Scope

• Document Catalogue
  • Approximately 800 HR documents in:
  • French (FR)
  • Dutch (NL)
  • English (EN)
  • German (DE)

Document Types

• Employment contracts
• Certificates
• Onboarding documents
• HR forms
• Employee‑related correspondence

Target Functionality

• The existing client front‑end application will:
  • Allow document selection
  • Enable company and employee selection
  • Pre‑populate data through APIs
• Papyrus will function as:
  • A dedicated Document Generation Engine
  • Dynamic form generation and completion
  • PDF generation and output management
• Business logic and case management will remain outside Papyrus and be managed by the client’s IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Discovery & Scoping

• Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis
• Validate and recommend the target architecture
• Define workflows between:
  • Front‑end applications
  • APIs
  • Papyrus platform
• Assess security, permissions, and GDPR compliance requirements
• Define document and forms management strategy
• Identify required and optional Papyrus modules
• Provide licensing and implementation recommendations

Phase 2: Configuration & Support

• Support architecture implementation
• Configure API integrations and access mechanisms
• Structure and organize the document catalogue
• Establish Papyrus Business Designer best practices
• Support document generation workflows
• Guide client teams through configuration and adoption
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Papyrus Functional Consultant
• Hands‑on expertise with Papyrus document generation solutions
• Experience designing document management and generation architectures
• Knowledge of Papyrus Business Designer and related modules
• Experience with API‑based integrations
• Understanding of workflow design and document lifecycle management
• Knowledge of GDPR and enterprise security requirements
• Experience in multilingual document environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to conduct workshops, knowledge transfer, and client training
