Overall Systems V&V Leader (f/m)
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Overall Systems V&V Leader to join our Airbus Design Office, based in Toulouse, France.
You will join a dynamic team whose mission is to drive and engage the Airbus Systems Community to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of the aircraft systems, defining and implementing new standards that leverage new technologies and methodologies. As a member of the “Overall Systems V&V, Certification and Integration” team, you will collaborate with stakeholders such as systems architects, system designer teams, ground and flight test teams, and R&T teams.
You will work on the critical project dedicated to the replacement of our Single Aisle family. Five functional streams have been identified on this project, including Operate Aircraft (OPAC), which is where most of the systems are represented. Your main role will be to lead the overall systems V&V activities for the Operate Aircraft perimeter, associated with the ground/flight test demonstrators currently being launched. Apart from this role, you will also link the five functional streams to ensure that V&V needs are well covered at the overall systems level.
Challenges
- Understanding the aircraft technical baselines and architecture trades
- Understanding the list of technical risks identified for the overall system perimeter in the project
- Authoring the High-Level Validation and Verification Objectives (HLVVOs) to de‑risk these topics
- Coordinating with the testing/modeling community to ensure HLVVOs are properly converted to modeling/testing needs
- Closely following simulation/test campaigns to provide an overall V&V status for the project
Qualifications
- Good overall aircraft systems knowledge
- Strong experience in aircraft systems or functions development (mono‑system or multi‑systems), whether in a Design Office or in testing organizations
- Good knowledge of the V&V process is an advantage
- Negotiation level of English and French
