DRAMA STUDIOS is an independent game studio based in Rennes, France. We focus on creating immersive, gameplay driven experiences through close collaboration between design, art and technology.

DRAMA STUDIOS is currently developing UNRECORD, a narrative open world tactical FPS built with Unreal Engine 5. UNRECORD aims to deliver a highly immersive experience through realism, systemic gameplay and a strong narrative approach. The project sits at an AA ambition level, combining creative freedom with solid production pipelines and technical rigor. Our goal is to craft believable worlds, meaningful player interactions and gameplay systems that feel grounded, intense and coherent.

• Permanent contract Rennes (35)Position Duties

You will manage the pipeline between DRAMA STUDIOS and its external partners : art outsourcing studios, freelancers and service providers contributing to UNRECORD. You handle quality control and the production side of the collaboration, making sure external work meets both the contract and the quality bar of the project. You follow up on assets day to day, help select the right partners, and act as the bridge between our internal leads and their teams. Regular on site presence is expected. Partial remote work is possible.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate and onboard outsourcing partners and freelancers in line with production needs

Consolidate internal inputs from the dev teams and direction into clear, complete briefs covering the technical and creative components, with the relevant leads

Plan, track and prioritize outsourced deliveries : schedules, budgets, contracts and invoicing follow up

Run review loops between external partners and internal leads, and consolidate feedback into actionable notes

Maintain the intake pipeline for external deliveries (asset validation, naming conventions, integration handoff)

Report progress, risks and costs to production and direction

Improve documentation and processes for external collaboration

Candidate Profile

Requirements

Experience in production, outsourcing management or vendor management in games or a related creative industry

Strong organizational skills and comfort managing several workstreams in parallel

Excellent written communication : briefs, feedback notes, status reports

Understanding of game art or content pipelines and what makes an asset production ready

Working knowledge of Unreal Engine and its content pipeline, enough to discuss deliveries and integration with leads and vendors

Comfort with production tooling (Notion, spreadsheets, task trackers)

Fluent or professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

An existing network of art or animation outsourcing partners

A strong artistic eye and critical sense to review asset quality, with a solid 3D culture

Passion for highly immersive worlds

Hands on experience integrating content in Unreal Engine
