Outside Commercial Sales Representative – Entry Door Division
Overhead Door Company of Charlotte™ a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire an Outside Commercial Sales Representative to represent our Entry Door Division for our commercial line of business in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Position Overview
You will have the opportunity to directly impact sales by cultivating new customers and fostering long-term relationships in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of Entry Doors and related door products and services
- Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial buildings owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, and hospitals in Charlotte and surrounding areas
- Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale; must be proficient with Windows based programs and sales tools
- Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
- Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
- Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum three (3) years of outside sales experience calling on business to business – ideally calling on commercial accounts selling new construction or retrofit projects to both end-users and contractors; however, will consider other applicable experience, especially if “mechanical” type products have been sold
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred
- Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
