Oracle Fusion SoD & Security Consultant (French Speaking)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Security and Segregation of Duties (SoD) Consultant to support a large-scale Oracle Cloud transformation programme.

Overview

The organisation operates a structured "Jobs" model, where users are assigned predefined jobs containing sets of Oracle roles rather than individually assigned roles. An extensive review of security, roles, privileges and user assignments has already been completed, resulting in the identification of approximately 28,000 potential SoD conflicts.

The successful consultant will take ownership of the existing analysis, validate and challenge findings, identify genuine risks, and drive the remediation and mitigation programme through to completion.

This is a highly hands‑on role requiring deep Oracle Fusion Security expertise alongside strong SoD/SOX governance knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing Oracle Fusion security analysis and SoD matrix.
• Validate and challenge identified conflicts to determine genuine business and audit risks.
• Analyse Oracle Fusion jobs, roles, privileges and security hierarchies.
• Identify false positives and confirm legitimate SoD conflicts.
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand current security design and operational requirements.
• Define practical remediation and mitigation strategies.
• Design, modify, create and deploy Oracle Fusion security roles as required.
• Recommend changes to ERP security architecture to reduce future SoD exposure.
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities relating to Oracle Fusion security.
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders in French.
• Drive the overall clean‑up and optimisation of the Oracle Fusion security model.

Oracle Fusion Security

• Extensive hands‑on Oracle Fusion Security experience.
• Proven experience creating, modifying and deploying Oracle Fusion roles.
• Strong understanding of duty roles, job roles, privileges and security inheritance.
• Experience analysing complex Oracle Fusion security structures at enterprise scale.

Segregation of Duties / Controls

• Strong SoD and internal controls experience.
• Understanding of SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Experience identifying, validating and mitigating SoD conflicts within Oracle Fusion environments.
• Ability to balance compliance requirements with operational business needs.

Stakeholder Management

• Ability to challenge existing analysis and provide expert recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working across business, security, audit and ERP teams.

Language Requirements

• Fluent French (written and spoken) is essential.
• Oracle Financials Cloud experience.
• Experience working on large Oracle Cloud transformation programmes.
• Experience with security governance frameworks and risk management methodologies.

Project Information

• Large‑scale Oracle Cloud environment with an established Jobs‑based security model.
• Existing analysis and SoD matrix available for review.
• Approximately 28,000 potential SoD conflicts identified.
• Initial focus on assessment, validation and scoping of remediation activities.
• Expected programme duration could extend up to 12 months depending on final scope and remediation approach.

Candidate Profile

This role is best suited to an Oracle Fusion Security specialist who has personally designed, configured and deployed Fusion roles. Candidates with only generic SoD, audit or SOX experience and no hands‑on Oracle Fusion Security expertise will not be considered.

The successful consultant will combine deep technical Fusion knowledge with the ability to engage stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and lead a complex security remediation programme from analysis through to implementation.
