OPS Manager
International Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, managing costs, and animating/empowering project teams. The role requires close collaboration with Project Managers, the Engineering Manager, the Resources Manager, and the Procurement team to ensure labour, plant, and materials are properly coordinated to support smooth and profitable project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage client relationships, address issues promptly, and identify opportunities for new business.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Resource teams to ensure labour, equipment, and materials are allocated effectively.
- Supervise warehouse, tools, and inventory processes to support project execution.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, investigate incidents, and drive a culture of safety and quality.
- Motivate and coach project teams, subcontractors, and site staff to improve efficiency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations or project management within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial services.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Financial and commercial awareness, including cost control and contracts.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- (Desirable) Experience in machinery installation/relocation, ISO 9001/14001, and advanced technical education.
