Your Mission

As part of the continued growth of our Global Customer Service organization, we are looking for our future Global Application Specialist.

Reporting to the Global System Support Director, you will play a key role in providing scientific and application expertise to our subsidiaries and distributors worldwide. As a recognized expert, you will support the successful implementation of Sebia solutions, develop the competencies of our global teams, and actively contribute to new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Marketing and Technical Service teams, you will help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while contributing to Sebia's innovation and commercial success.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical & Scientific Support

• Provide second-level scientific and application support to Sebia subsidiaries and distributors for complex customer cases.
• Investigate customer complaints by performing application-based root cause analysis and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the resolution of critical customer situations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing and Technical Service departments to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Travel to customer sites when necessary to provide advanced scientific support.

Training & Knowledge Development

• Design, develop and deliver scientific and application training programs for subsidiaries, distributors and internal teams.
• Coach Application Specialists and Customer Support Engineers to strengthen their technical and scientific expertise.
• Develop and maintain training documentation, troubleshooting guides, scientific manuals and e-learning modules.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning programs.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer throughout new product development and product improvement projects.
• Participate in feasibility studies, validation activities, field evaluations and design verification.
• Contribute to the definition and validation of application documentation, scientific claims and customer workflows.
• Support global product launch readiness activities.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer to the worldwide Application community before product launches.
• Participate in strategic projects involving innovative technologies, laboratory workflow optimization and digital solutions.
• Analyze customer feedback and field experience to identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Contribute to the development of global application best practices and standardized support processes.
• Serve as the scientific reference for one or several Sebia product lines.

Your Profile

Education:

You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, PhD or equivalent degree in one of the following fields:

• Life Sciences , Clinical Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Immunology, Hematology, Medical Technology or any related scientific discipline.
• A PhD or PharmD is considered a strong asset.

Experience:

You have at least 3 years of experience in a position such as:

• Application Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Product Specialist, Technical Support Specialist or an equivalent customer-facing scientific role, preferably within the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), Medical Device or Healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory environments and laboratory workflows.
• Experience with electrophoresis, immunology, hemostasis, clinical chemistry or related diagnostic technologies.
• Experience working with international subsidiaries, distributors and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS/LIMS) and laboratory automation would be highly appreciated.
• Fluent English is essential for this international position.

• Competitive salary package: €45,000–€55,000 per annum, including attractive employee benefits
