Operations & Tech Manager
You will sit at the intersection of customer operations and technical delivery, managing everything from project implementation and go-live to day-to-day operations for global insurance programs. Working closely with Tech and Operations teams, you will help build and maintain data dashboards, coordinate workflows, and drive process improvements that bridge the gap between operational and technical tracks.

Responsibilities
- Insurance program onboarding, management & operational support: Manage clients and carrier onboarding and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth integrations and high client satisfaction.
- Project coordination and documentation: Maintain documentation, manage project plans, and status reports across client implementations. Capture operating models and tech requirements.
- QA, UAT: Prepare and execute test cases, support UAT, and track defects in Jira. Assist with data mapping and integration clarifications
- Customer support & bug liaison: Primary contact for customer and client inquiries on products and programs. Lead and coordinate with the tech team for platform bugs and live issues.
- Claims & complaints management: Monitor, transfer and coordinate claims and complaints through to full resolution.
- Reporting, dashboard & data analysis: Develop and maintain the data dashboard. Develop and run processes for data cleaning and processing. Develop ad-hoc analysis to make strategic decisions. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for stakeholders.
- Go-live & post-launch support : Support readiness checklists, live monitoring, and issue tracking at launch. Document post-launch learnings to feed back into future delivery.
- Automation & process improvement: Identify inefficiencies across ops and tech workflows. Design and implement automations, including AI-driven tooling, to remove manual effort and bridge the two tracks.
What you will bring
Background:A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of professional experience in operations, project management, data/technical or a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced startup, scale-up, or the fintech/insurtech sector.Skills:Familiarity with automation and AI tooling to streamline manual processes.Proficiency in operational tools including data processing, analysis and presentation (e.g. Knime, Alteryx, Looker Studio, Metabase, Tableau) and knowledge with SQL and spreadsheets (Google and Excel)Experience with Jira and Confluence, or similar project/documentation toolsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate in a calm and effective manner, and coordinate with all levels of the organization.Comfort managing several workstreams at once in a fast-moving environment.Comfortable in interacting and working with tech teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to transform goals into actionable operational plans.An independent and proactive approach to projects with a bias for action, comfortable in a fast-moving and fluid environment.Highly organised: You keep multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders straight without dropping details, and you bring structure to ambiguous or fast-changing work.Professional working proficiency in English, and any other language is a plus.
