Operations Support Engineer | Strasbourg | EU Institution

We are looking for an experienced Operations Support Engineer for an upcoming long-term project supporting mission-critical European IT systems at eu-LISA .

What will you do?

• Provide operational support for complex IT applications and infrastructure.
• Support incident, problem, change and operational service-management activities.
• Monitor applications, infrastructure, databases and services.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments and container orchestration technologies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
• Work with APIs, gateways, event-streaming and messaging technologies.
• Support identity and authentication technologies.
• Contribute to database monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Support system hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and contribute to service stability and availability.

What are we looking for?

• Strong professional experience in IT operations/application support .
• Experience with ITSM processes and tools .
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with container orchestration and observability technologies .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools .
• Knowledge of APIs/gateways and event-streaming/message middleware .
• Knowledge of authentication technologies such as OAuth2, OIDC and SAML .
• Experience with database monitoring, backup and recovery .
• Knowledge of hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation .
• Professional working proficiency in English .
• Ability to work on-site in Strasbourg or within 2 hours' travel from Strasbourg.
• Must be eligible to obtain security clearance up to SECRET UE / EU SECRET .
