Operations Manager 2nd Shift

Overview

The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Manage the resources (human, material and automated) in the operational areas in order to support the requirements of the production plan.
• Coach and mentor Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Team Members on the vision of the organization, policies and procedures.
• Communicate to staff and hourly associate’s regarding operational topics & changes that impact all levels of the business unit
• Provide process improvement ideas and solutions to the Senior Management Team
• Promote and value diversity of the organization.
• Responsible for succession and in the labor market with the profile” A Player” and train the staff to improve the level of capacity for the implementation of the strategy of Schnellecke Logistics.
• Measure and present performance improvement in defined facets of the operation.
• Provide world class customer service both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Ability to manage and maintain KPI's.
