The Opportunity: As DSS+ grows across Europe, there are several opportunities for Independent Consultants with experience in Operational Risk Management projects, including SIF Protocols and solution design. DSS+ offers a range of full-time and part-time projects across the country. We are flexible in resource application and aim to help our freelance community achieve work-life balance as Independent Contractors.

Job Requirements: About You: You are an expert in operational risk management with experience in plant and facility management, enabling a broad overview of safety and risk management within heavy and hazardous industries. Experience in coaching and supporting cultural and behavioral change at all levels is ideal. As an independent contractor, you seek opportunities across Europe. Typical qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s or MBA in Engineering is a plus.
• 7-10 years of ORM experience in industry or consultancy.
• Broad understanding of ORM and its linkages within operations.
• Practical experience with risk analysis and management techniques.
• Experience in Behavior-based Safety and Workplace Safety (WPS).
• Background in audit or design.
• Ability to deliver training and coaching to senior executives.
• Operational and commercial due diligence experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and executive gravitas.
