About the job

As a Operational Resilience Officer, your role will involve supporting the implementation and enhancement of the company’s Operational Resilience framework, contributing to the management of the Crisis Management/Incident Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Resilience and IT Service Continuity Management processes, organizing controls, guidance and reporting, facilitating the execution of the exercises on all dimension of Operational Resilience, participating to Group Operational Resilience initiatives and working groups, as well as supporting the Crisis Leaders, coordinators and Crisis Management Team in case of crisis. You will be specifically in charge of activities related to Cyber Resilience and the maintenance in operational conditions of the solutions put in place to deal with cybersecurity‑related crises.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

Operational Resilience Framework

  • Contribute to ensure a consistent framework is in place to systematically identify, measure, mitigate, report, monitor and manage the most significant risks including Cybersecurity risks.
  • Implement and strengthen Operational Resilience strategies.
  • Support the Global Technology Resilience Team in developing, revising and overall execution of the Business Continuity and IT Services Continuity Plans and Solutions.
  • Maintain in operational conditions the Global Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Recovery Plans to be ready to be activated in case of crisis.
  • Actively participate in group initiatives and strategic programs linked to Operational Resilience.

Crisis Management / Incident Management

  • Contribute to the execution of the Crisis Management Process.
  • Organise tests and support the Incident Management team during those tests according to the yearly plan and crisis risk scenarios.
  • Ensure agreed‑upon processes and plans are followed in case of Crisis activation, with specific focus on supporting Cyber Crisis, Incidents and threats.

Business Continuity (BC) Management

  • Contribute to the tests and exercises to ensure that the responses are well maintained and operational.
  • Support Business Impact Alignment with IT Service Continuity and cyber responses.

IT Service Continuity Management

  • Ensure the follow‑up of the responsiveness of the critical IT systems by consolidating information on implementation of solutions, plans, tests, planning, level of maturity, ownerships, etc.
  • Follow up remediation actions identified in transversal controls and during the execution of the tests and ensure they are resolved.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Cyber Resilience activities execution in the Global Technology Resilience Team.

Expected skills & experience

Experience

  • About 2‑4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • General understanding of Business Continuity Management lifecycle and IT Operations and IT Continuity Service Management.
  • General understanding of Group Operational Resilience processes and tools required to undertake the role.
  • Experience and knowledge of Cyber Defense mechanisms.
  • Experience and knowledge of IT Operations and IT Continuity Service Management.
  • General understanding of a product‑based organization.

Technical skills

  • IT Operations.
  • Risk Management frameworks.
  • Business Impact Analysis.
  • Disaster Recovery solutions and plans.
  • Incident response procedures.
  • Training skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with relevant tools and technologies for resilience planning and testing.
  • ITIL, ISO 22301.

The division

Group Technology Operations (GTO) aims at designing, developing and operating Global AXA IT products, delivering them to AXA Entities and the AXA Group, at the right level of quality of service and cost and aligned with business‑driven priorities.

The department / team

You will join the Global Service Operations Department, within Group Technology Operations (GTO) Division.

Our main missions

  • Managing QoS as well as continuous service improvements for all AXA entities and across all AXA GO products transversally.
  • Supporting the Market by fronting the Entity operationally to ensure QoS, offering a centralized view for all global services provided by AXA GO Products.
  • Operating standardized, globalized key platforms & transversal services while leveraging automation and self‑service capabilities.
  • Monitoring the performance of AXA GO applications and infrastructure to identify or anticipate any issues or anomalies that could impact the organization’s operation.
  • Managing IT operations processes, in particular swift and sustainable incident resolution, controlled change management as well as Asset & Configuration Management.
  • Facilitating Technology Resilience Services for the Entities and AXA GO, securing Business Continuity in case of Disaster or Crisis Scenarios.
  • Leading the IT Operations standards definition, implementation and governance and ensures adherence to these standards including external vendors.
  • Delivering and operating AXA’s Datacenters.
