Your Role And Responsabilities

  • Managing AXA SA / GIE AXA Operational Risk Framework and Operational Short-Term Economic Capital (STEC OP) production for AXA SA in collaboration with other experts in the team:
    • Planning and conducting Operational Risk assessment with AXA SA / GIE AXA operational teams and reporting in Group tool (SCALA)
    • Quarterly risk monitoring: collection of loss data, incidents and local Key Risk Indicators
    • Designing key risks scenarios, updating assumptions with operational teams and processing calculation in Group tool (Phoenix) in line with Group guidelines
    • Performing aggregation process to establish diversified STEC OP
    • Performing validation tests required by Group (e.g. sensitivity tests)
    • Reporting to risk committee
  • Managing Information Risk Management (IRM) framework in collaboration with key GIE expert teams (IT, Information Security, Operational resilience, Data Privacy…):
    • Monitoring and reporting on key information risks indicators for AXA SA and GIE AXA as well as Risk Appetite (Cyber, IT Outage…)
    • Monitoring risks related to top Technology projects, contributing to second opinions on key projects when required
    • Following up on action plan established with Group IRM recommendations
  • Lead Internal Control activity related to IRM scope contributing to AXA SA and GIE AXA Internal Control Programme:
    • Monitoring performance and reporting of key controls by 1st line managers in Group tool (SCALA)
    • Leading Internal Control independent reviews to assess controls design and operating effectiveness
    • Ensuring coverage of key information risks by controls in line with Group Control Objectives
    • Monitoring Internal Control deficiencies to ensure adequacy of action plans and escalation when required
  • Acting as Operational & Information Risk Management Practice referent for AXA SA and GIE AXA, participating to Group communities and sharing best practices / methodology updates with the team
  • Spread Operational & Information Risk culture across the organization and improve management understanding of their risks

YOUR PROFILE

Technical And Professional Skills

  • Educational background: Master degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration or equivalent, specializing in Risk Management and Technology
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in operational / information risk management and / or IT audit risk practice, ideally in financial services and insurance and/or reinsurance
  • Knowledge of DORA, GDPR and / or AI concepts is a plus
  • Project management certification (or proven capacities)
  • Fluent in French
  • Proficient in English (B2 level at least both in writing and speaking)

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of correspondents at various levels of management including regulators and auditors
  • Proficient writing and communicating skills (delivery of presentations, documentations)
  • Ability to build strong relationships and business partnering
