OpenShift Security Expert / Micro-Segmentation - Level 4

Shift platforms, particularly internationally in the Americas (AMER) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions, we are seeking an Open

Shift Security / Network Security Expert for containerized environments. The consultant will participate in defining and implementing a robust and consistent network security strategy for Open

Shift environments. They will work within a hybrid and heterogeneous filtering ecosystem and will need to understand the security of network flows holistically, from their definition to their monitoring and maintenance in operational condition. A significant aspect of the role will also involve knowledge transfer and support for internal teams, particularly in the Americas (AMER) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.

Main Missions Strategy & Architecture

• Define and formalize network filtering policies and strategies; Define flow security and micro-segmentation rules; Participate in the implementation of Open

Shift infrastructures in AMER and APAC regions;

• Participate in defining the architectural standards for containerized platforms; Anticipate the extension of platforms to host virtual machines via Open

Shift Virtualization;

• Define and implement technical security architectures.

Security & Network Expertise

• Manage the implementation and administration of Open

Shift security rules;

• Administer and secure Load Balancing components; Collaborate with Platform, Network and Security teams; Analyze connectivity incidents and security alerts; Define and manage remediation plans ; Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the Security Policy; Investigate exceptions to the Security Policy; Participate in internal and external audits and ensure the implementation of recommendations; Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures: monitoring, incidents, problems, installation and configuration.

Automation, SOC & Continuous Improvement

• Identify automation needs for workflow and compliance management; Collaborate with development teams on implementation; Collaborate with the SOC on the design of security dashboards using Splunk; Write security guides, standards and best practices; Propose solutions to improve security, quality, performance and operating costs.

Skills transfer

• Support and train internal teams on best practices for securing Open

Shift;

• Support the international AMER / APAC teams; Act as a reference and mentor to the Network Security (SRE) team; Ensure technological monitoring of Open

Shift security solutions.

Shift: Expert;

• English: Minimum professional level; Significant expertise in containerized environment security; Experience in large, critical and regulated enterprise environments; Definition and implementation of technical security architectures.

Important:

• Micro-Segmentation: Minimum confirmed; Network security and flow filtering; Management of technical teams; Maintenance in operational condition of security infrastructures.

Desirable/differentiating:

• Load Balancing: Confirmed; Open

Shift Virtualization;

• Splunk/SOC collaboration; Automation of security rules and flows; International experience or collaboration with AMER/APAC teams.

Ops engineer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience securing large-scale Open

Shift platforms, particularly in network filtering, micro-segmentation, traffic security, security policy administration, and connectivity incident analysis. Experience in critical, regulated, and enterprise environments is highly desirable. The consultant must also be able to act as a technical lead, recommend security architectures and solutions, manage technical teams, and ensure knowledge transfer.
