Onboarding Project Manager
Mapal Group is looking for an Onboarding Project Manager to join our GTM-CS Onboarding team.
Preferred location: Paris, but we are also open to strong candidates based in Spain or working remotely.
Languages required: French speaker with strong English skills; Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of B2C software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and third‑party stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Define, develop, and maintain comprehensive project plans to track progress, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost, ensuring appropriate governance, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor and report on project performance using relevant tools, metrics, and KPIs, ensuring transparency and informed decision‑making.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, taking corrective action where required.
- Provide clear, timely status reporting to stakeholders and elevate risks or blockers when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, managing expectations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices, lessons learned, and developing leadership capability within project delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within customer‑facing software implementation environments.
- Proven track record delivering customer projects in a global or multi‑regional setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Strong commercial awareness, balancing customer satisfaction while safeguarding business objectives and profitability.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools).
- Experience with professional services automation (PSA) tools or project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, etc.
- Business‑level proficiency in multiple languages: French required, English required; Spanish highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours when needed to support global stakeholders and project demands.
- Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous.
