The On-Trade Business Development Manager role operates across all global sales of Hennessy and across its full portfolio of product qualities. They directly manage a central A&P budget and influence the full A&P agenda.
Job responsibilities
As a team member of Hennessy's “Direction Internationale”, the candidate will be in charge of :
- Defining the vision, ambition & guidelines for Maison Hennessy for the On-Trade, in coordination with the International & Marketing teams; will contribute to the Strat Plan work by sharing volumes, price & A&Ps ambition for the On-Trade always in a short & long-term horizon.
- Animating a group of regional champions / stakeholders in charge of relaying the On-Trade ambition into their regions; needs to create trust with a group of 5/7 people in the market through influence.
- Centralizing the needs & the feedbacks from markets, finding the appropriate solutions / answers & making sure that these Maison activations are well adapted to the markets; this might require the implementation of a specific tool / platform.
- Creating excitement & share of heart within Moët Hennessy, Maison Hennessy, regions & markets about the Hennessy On-Trade ambition, using the adequate incentives & celebration tools; will have to show creativity & passion.
- Contributing to continual improvement (guidelines, tools, targets, adhoc needs) by working on the ROI of the On-Trade activations & by sharing best practices; one of the objectives is to improve consistency in execution (One Hennessy) while having appropriate tools in markets.
- Managing the On-Trade maison budget – has to work on synergies with Hennessy My Way Program.
- Coordinating the development of the required tools & assets in tight collaboration with marketing & development teams; will require project management skills & agility to deliver tools quickly, efficiently & at the right cost.
Profile
10+ years of experience, in high-end spirits, luxury goods, hospitality industries, with a combination of roles offering a broad view of consumer connections (Operational Marketing, Brand management, Innovation, Trade/On-Trade).
