Role and Facility Information

We are seeking an OBGYN to join our team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, British Columbia.

Location

Vernon, BC – scenic community with lakes, mountains, and outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑call consultative obstetrics for complex or high‑risk pregnancies, including twin pregnancies.
• Provide on‑call gynecology services, including home call and overnight coverage.
• Perform operations in the operating room; typically a clinic commitment of 1‑4 days a week and 2‑3 OR days each month.
• Cover a broad spectrum of gynecology care: infertility, urogynecology, vaginal surgery, and complex laparoscopic cases.

Qualifications

Open to new graduates and experienced hospitalists.

Compensation

• Compensation Type: Fee‑for‑Service
• Estimated Remuneration: Gross annual $400,000 (fee‑for‑service payment structure, MOCAP level 1)
• Physician Overhead: $4,000–$7,000 monthly (depending on office setup)

Benefits and Incentives

• Relocation funding: $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, $15,000 for moves from outside Canada (subject to change).
