Location & Working Arrangement
EURELITE is currently building its global engineering presence. The company’s Paris office is expected to open in 2027. Until then, international candidates joining for on‑site positions will initially work as part of our Beijing‑based China engineering teamduring the first year.
Position Overview
As an Industrial Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity architectures for nuclear operational technology (OT) environments, including industrial control systems, reactor instrumentation and control networks, and critical infrastructure systems.
You will contribute to the development of cybersecurity strategies based on defense‑in‑depth principles, zero‑trust architecture, network segmentation, access control, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with I&C engineers, electrical engineers, system engineers, software teams, and nuclear safety specialists, you will help ensure the cybersecurity resilience, reliability, and safety of advanced nuclear energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Cybersecurity Architecture & Design
- Develop cybersecurity architectures for:
- Industrial control systems (ICS)
- Operational technology (OT) networks
- Reactor instrumentation and control (I&C) systems
- Design and implement cybersecurity solutions based on:
- Defense-in-depth strategies
- Zero-trust security principles
- Network segmentation
- Access control mechanisms
- Define cybersecurity requirements and technical specifications for critical digital systems.
OT Network Security Implementation
- Deploy and configure industrial cybersecurity technologies, including:
- Industrial firewalls
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
- Bastion hosts
- Endpoint protection solutions
- Support secure architecture design for:
- SCADA systems
- PLC/DCS environments
- Industrial communication networks
Cybersecurity Assessment & Risk Management
- Perform:
- Cybersecurity risk assessments
- Threat modeling
- Vulnerability assessments
- Security reviews
- Penetration testing support
- Analyze cybersecurity threats affecting:
- Industrial control systems
- Embedded systems
- Critical infrastructure networks
- Develop mitigation strategies and security improvement plans.
Industrial Protocol & System Security
- Analyze and secure industrial communication protocols, including:
- OPC UA
- Modbus
- IEC 61850
- Other industrial network protocols
- Support secure communication design and authentication mechanisms.
- Evaluate cybersecurity implications of system interfaces and data exchange pathways.
Nuclear Cybersecurity Compliance & Documentation
- Support compliance with:
- Nuclear cybersecurity requirements
- Industrial cybersecurity standards
- Critical infrastructure protection frameworks
- Develop and maintain:
- Cybersecurity design documents
- Security assessment reports
- Technical specifications
- Engineering documentation
- Support cybersecurity reviews throughout the reactor design lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in:
- Cybersecurity
- Information Security
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering

- Related technical disciplines
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Industrial cybersecurity
- Operational Technology (OT) security
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security
- Network security architecture

Experience with:
- Firewall configuration
- IDS/IPS deployment
- SIEM platforms
